Bank robbery

The biggest heist in LSDM. You need a team of at least 2, a hacking device and dynamite. Every stage puts you at more risk -- the police get alerted along the way.

Stage 1 -- Get your tools

Go to the dealer (Phone > GPS > Dynamite Dealer):

• /buydevice -- hacking device, $5,000 (you can carry 3; each hack attempt uses one)
• /buydynamite -- dynamite, $40,000 (lost if you die carrying it)

Stage 2 -- Hack the vault security

1. Enter the bank -- press Y at the entrance.
2. Go to the vault door and press Y. The security panel opens.
3. Keypad hack: a code flashes up -- memorise it, then tap it in on the keypad before time runs out. There are 3 rounds, each code longer than the last.

The moment you start hacking, the police get a silent alarm. If you get it wrong, run out of time or get shot, the hack fails, a loud alarm goes off for everyone, and the panel locks for 2 minutes.

Stage 3 -- Blow the vault

With the security down, go through the vault door and press Y to plant the dynamite. It takes 10 seconds to plant and 10 more to explode -- everyone on the server is told.

Stage 4 -- Grab the cash

Press Y at each cash pile inside the vault (15 seconds each, $40,000-$75,000 per pile).

Stage 5 -- Escape

A yellow marker shows the cash drop on your map (also in Phone > Heists). Take your cash bag there and press Y. Cash delivered by a team member is split between the whole team.

Watch out

• If you die carrying cash, you drop the bag and anyone can pick it up.
• The vault refills about 90 minutes after it's been blown, and the security comes back online with it.
